Working alongside Zenia, a dear family friend of over eight years, Kelsee strives to make Barkhaus a place where pets feel safe, loved, and truly at home.
When she’s not caring for furry companions, you can find her reading, diving into true crime podcasts, spending time with her daughter at Disneyland, or exploring the fascinating world of wine.
Meet our Petsitters
Grayden (Gray) has always been surrounded by animals – from a childhood spent with a pack of family Boxers, to caring for pet rats as a kid, and eventually having their very own dog in high school.
Throughout Gray’s life, animals have been a cornerstone of their growth and identity. They can’t imagine life without pets – through all the highs and lows, animals have always been there.
Their love for animals naturally led to hands-on experience, including working as a dog bather. That role gave Gray valuable insight into canine behavior, coat and skin care, and how to help animals feel comfortable and safe during grooming.
In their free time, you’ll find Grayden at Renaissance fairs, playing Dungeons & Dragons, or diving into video games. Before joining Barkhaus Petsitters, they worked as a dog bather, bringing hand-on experience and calm, caring approach to every furry client.
Lauren has been working in the animal care industry for over 10 years. With a degree in Animal Science and several years of experience as a veterinary assistant in animal hospitals, she has developed a deep understanding of both the physical and emotional well-being of pets. Her professional knowledge is matched by a genuine love for the animals-and their humans-she helps care for.
As a pet parent of two high-energy dogs and a playful cat, Lauren knows firsthand that every fur baby is unique and deeply cherished. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending quality time with her own beloved pets.
Kaila has been surrounded by animals her entire life. With years of experience as a professional dog groomer, she’s developed a deep understanding of animal care, behavior, and comfort. Born and raised in California, growing up with pets helped shape her compassionate and attentive approach to every animal she works with.
In addition to her grooming background, Kaila is a proud mom and a dedicated pet parent—making her especially empathetic to the needs of both pets and their owners. She offers reliable, loving care with a personal touch.
In her free time, she enjoys writing, spending time with her family, and unwinding with a cozy session of The Sims 4.
